Throughout the year we regularly host special events including seminars taught by leading UK and international Aikido teachers. This gives our students as well as those from other clubs the chance to broaden their horizons by experiencing Aikido from other teachers.
2nd INTERNATIONAL AIKIDO FRIENDSHIP MEET
We are delighted to host Masaki Tanuma sensei, 6th Dan of Aikido Kumano Juku Saishin dojo, Japan for a joint seminar between our two dojos. Advanced booking is required so please contact us if you would like to participate. Please bring weapons and proof of insurance.
Saturday 8th to Sunday 9th March 2025, 11:00am - 4:00pm.

Mat fee: £70 for full seminar, £50 for one day.
YAMADA SHIHAN MEMORIAL SEMINAR
We are hosting a special seminar in memory of the late Yamada Yoshimitsu Shihan 8th Dan Aikikai. Yamada Shihan was head of the United States Aikido Federation and chief instructor of the New York Aikikai. He helped grow Aikido around the world and was an inspiration to many of us. There will be two sessions taught by Chye Lim Sensei of Aikido Kaashikoi and Sam Street Sensei of Bath Aikido Society, followed by kyu grading afterwards.

LARBI EL AKEL SHIHAN SEMINAR
Larbi El Akel Shihan 6th Dan Aikikai will be visiting us for a two day seminar this summer. Booking is required due to limited spaces. Please bring proof of insurance and wooden weapons.
Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th June 2025, 11:00am - 4:00pm. Registration open from 10:00am
